Formerly known as the Restore, Adapt, Develop Jamestown (RAD) Grant Program, the initiative has been rebranded as ROI Jamestown to better reflect the City’s focus on strategic reinvestment, economic opportunity and measurable community impact.
Made possible through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, ROI Jamestown provides financial assistance to eligible commercial property owners and business tenants for improvements to their facilities and operations. The program is designed to encourage private investment, support small businesses and entrepreneurship, strengthen commercial properties, and sustain and create jobs within the city.
Applications are available through the Department of Development and through the City of Jamestown’s website.
Request for Qualifications – Jamestown Interpretive Map Mural
About: The Jamestown Interpretive Map Mural project is intended to enhance public art in the City of Jamestown while uplifting Chautauqua County Department of Planning and Development’s ongoing economic development efforts. Public artwork is an essential building block in economic development and quality of place, and this project will bring one large mural to the City of Jamestown’s Chadakoin Basin area — providing another asset to our walkable, pedestrian-friendly downtown. This mural will help attract visitors, locals, and tourists!
